I am about to unfurl a load of ill-thought out verbiage about modernism and truth and what can be proven so before I do that you could read something even more brainy, but considerably more sensible in the form of this assessment of the architect, Oscar Niemeyer. It would be fair to say that the “visionary” behind Brasília is the ultimate not-too-distant future architect. Plus he uses concrete like a badass.
Or if you want a different kind of long-winded article you could read Liam McDermott’s epic five-part explanation of why he left his faith. I am working my way through it and finding it great.
